Jigdrel Singay brings experience in blockchain, digital assets, and institutional innovation to support GMC’s vision of a mindful, sustainable, and future-ready city. He is Associate Director of GreenDigital Private Limited (GDL), a subsidiary of the Gelephu Investment and Development Corporation (GIDC), where he leads strategy, operations, partnerships, and investments, shaping Bhutan’s digital asset and energy initiatives. Previously at Druk Holding & Investments (DHI), Bhutan’s sovereign wealth fund, Jigdrel advanced programs in energy, blockchain, web3, and innovation, including facilitating one of Bhutan’s largest foreign direct investment partnerships with Bitdeer Technologies, resulting in 600 MW of high-performance computing data centers. He also serves on the Board of the Royal Stock Exchange of Bhutan, focusing on integrating next-generation technologies to promote financial inclusion and innovation. A Chevening Scholar, Jigdrel holds an MSc in Innovation Management and Entrepreneurship with Distinction from the University of Manchester, and a BSc in Finance from Trinity University, Texas.
