Lauren is a seasoned international relations and communications strategist and the CEO of Teneo’s Asia-Pacific Strategy & Communications business. She is a member of Teneo’s Global Management Committee and advises corporate boards, CEOs, investors and sovereign leaders on high-stakes reputation and business challenges. Lauren helms Teneo’s Strategy & Communications business in Asia Pacific, which supports clients in navigating complex economic, geopolitical, regulatory, environmental and societal shifts. Her remit includes Japan, Mainland China, Hong Kong SAR, Singapore and Australia, where she leads teams delivering strategic advisory, corporate positioning, investor relations, crisis management, stakeholder engagement and public affairs solutions. Lauren is Co-Chair of the World Economic Forum’s Global Future Council (GFC) on Trade and Investment, where she contributes to shaping the future of global trade governance. She has also been appointed by His Majesty, The King of Bhutan, to the Board of the Gelephu Mindfulness City (GMC), a pioneering initiative integrating sustainability, mindfulness and innovation into urban development. Additionally, Lauren serves as a Board Director of The Fred Hollows Foundation (Asia) and is a Board Committee Member for Mother’s Choice, a Hong Kong-based non-profit supporting vulnerable children and families. Lauren holds an Executive MBA from INSEAD, a postgraduate degree from Monash University and a Bachelor of Arts. She is Australian, speaks conversational Mandarin, and currently resides in Hong Kong SAR.
