Siddharth Shah brings to GMC close to 25 years of experience in corporate law, investment funds and regulatory advisory, with a strong track record of advising clients on complex cross-border transactions and investment structures. His expertise spans fund formation across multiple asset classes, bespoke investment management platforms, REITs and InVITs, securities regulations, foreign investment laws and corporate restructuring, contributing valuable legal and institutional insight to GMC’s broader investment ecosystem. His experience in navigating sophisticated investment and regulatory frameworks will support GMC’s efforts to build a globally competitive and investor-friendly economic ecosystem. Siddharth is currently a Partner at Khaitan & Co, one of India’s foremost law firms, where he advises both domestic and international clients on a wide range of corporate and regulatory matters. His practice also includes private equity and venture capital investments, real estate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and strategic restructuring initiatives. In addition to his legal practice, Siddharth serves on several government, regulatory and industry association committees, where he actively contributes to policy and regulatory discussions. Over the course of his career, he has been consistently recognised by leading international legal directories, publications and industry bodies as one of the leading professionals in his field.
